Our Story

From Apprentice to Industry Leader

RAM Shopfitting and Construction was founded on 20 years of practical experience in joinery, construction and fit outs. Director Mario Da Fonseca trained as a joiner and shopfitter, building his expertise through an apprenticeship and diverse projects across residential, commercial and retail sectors. He established RAM with a clear vision: to combine quality craftsmanship, in-house manufacturing and end-to-end project delivery to give clients greater confidence in every outcome.

Today, that vision is reflected in RAM’s fully integrated approach. From its Melbourne workshop, the team manufactures custom joinery in-house using advanced CNC technology, precision machinery and specialist equipment. By managing every stage of the process, from manufacturing through to installation, RAM delivers consistent quality, reliable timelines and a seamless experience across retail, hospitality, commercial and residential projects.
